The CMA (Cost & Management Accountant) Course, run by the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI), is an established professional qualification for those wanting a successful career in the areas of Cost Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Auditing and Corporate Strategy. The CMA designation consists of a series of assessments that take place in three levels (CMA Foundation, CMA Intermediate, and CMA Final). CAT

The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) offers the CAT (Certificate in Accounting Technician) as an initial qualification for individuals looking to enter a career in Accounting, Taxation, and Business Support services. This certification is accessible to anyone who has completed Grade 10 or Grade 12 on the basis of accepted standards by the relevant Board/School; candidates who have not yet received their results are also eligible to apply. The CAT course is divided into two parts (Part 1 and Part 2), and each part covers topics such as Financial Accounting, Business Laws, Taxation, Goods and Services Tax (GST), Statutory Compliance, Computer Fundamentals, Microsoft Office Applications, Computerized Accounting using Tally, and Basic Concepts of Costing. The CAT course also includes a five (5) day Orientation Program and a forty-five (45) day practical Industry-based Internship to provide students with hands-on experience. Exams for the CAT course are multiple-choice questions (MCQ) primarily conducted on a computer. Exams are conducted twice yearly in June and December; to be successful, students must score forty percent (40%) in every subject and a fifty percent (50%) overall average of all subjects. Students who Successfully Complete Parts 1 & 2 of the CAT course and have also completed their Class 12 can apply to directly register for the CMA Intermediate Level without sitting for the Foundation Level Exam. Following Successful Completion of the CAT qualification, students will be qualified to work as an accounts assistant, Junior Accountant, Tax/Compliance Associate, Finance Support Executive, and Audit Assistant; and as such, the CAT course is a strong pathway to obtaining the CMA professional qualification.

Chartered Accountancy is a professional course conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). It is one of the most respected careers in accounting, auditing, taxation, and finance. It is a three-level course—CA Foundation, CA Intermediate, followed by a three-year practical training called "Articleship," and then CA Final. After completing 12th grade, students can register with ICAI for the CA Foundation, an entry-level examination. It includes subjects such as Principles and Practice of Accounting, Business Laws, Business Economics, and Quantitative Aptitude. After clearing the CA Foundation, students move to CA Intermediate. At this stage students study subjects related to accounting, taxation, corporate law, and financial management. The final stage is CA Final; candidates who clear it will become Chartered Accountants. Chartered Accountants can work in areas such as Accounting & Auditing, Tax Consulting, Financial Advisory, Corporate Finance, Banking & Investment Firms.

ACCA (The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) is a globally accepted International Professional Accounting qualification that serves as the benchmark for those looking to pursue professional accounting, auditing, and tax professions as well as Financial Management and Corporate Finance careers in the world (180 Countries). The ACCA qualification is designed to provide you with the training you need to become skilled and ethical finance professionals and to develop your ability to manage financial resources and hold leadership positions such as Finance Manager and CFO. ACCA consists of a total of 13 papers with 3 different levels (Applied Knowledge, Applied Skills, and Strategic Professional). Each of the exams is computer-based with multiple-choice, case study, and scenario-based question types and requires at least a 50% to pass the exam. The ACCA examinations are offered in March, June, September, and December every year. Students who have completed their 10th and 12th classes, or university graduates, or are currently employed in finance or accounting are eligible to register for ACCA, and there is no age restriction on student eligibility. Students may also choose to take the MEC + ACCA program, which includes the study of Mathematics, economics, and Commerce, as well as the study of Accounting and business principles through their ACCA courses.
