applying for any program at FBS Business School (“FBS”, “we”, “us”, “our”), you
agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”).
These Terms apply to all visitors, users, applicants, and students who access or use the
Website or any FBS program, service, or portal.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use this Website or apply for any program at
FBS.
FBS may update these Terms from time to time. Your continued use of the Website or
admission process after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2.Eligibility for Programs

FBS offers the following programs (as advertised on the Website):

  • MBA (2-year, full-time, dual specialization)
  • BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration)
  • B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce)
  • BBA + MBA (integrated 5-year program)
  • B.Com + MBA (integrated 5-year program)
  • BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications)
  • B.Sc (including specializations such as AI, Data Science, Computer Science)
  • MEC (Mathematics, Economics, Commerce) as an intermediate/elective stream


2.1 General Eligibility

  • BBA / B.Com / BCA / B.Sc:
    Candidates must have passed Class 10 and Class 12 (or equivalent) with a good academic record and adequate communication skills. Final year Class 12 students may provisionally apply.
  • MBA:
    Candidates must have completed a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) from a recognized university. Final year degree students may provisionally apply. Minimum aggregate marks may be specified by FBS (e.g., 50% or as notified).
  • BBA + MBA / B.Com + MBA:
    Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria for the UG component (BBA/B.Com) and agree to continue through both Stage I (3 years UG) and Stage II (2 years PG). There is no exit option during the program; participants must meet academic requirements each year to progress.
  • Specific eligibility criteria, entrance exam requirements, and minimum marks may vary by program and intake and are as announced by FBS on the Website or during admission.

Admissions Process

3.1 Application

  • Applications are submitted online via the Website or at the FBS campus.
  • You must provide accurate, complete, and genuine personal, academic, and contact details.
  • False, misleading, or incomplete information may lead to:
    • Rejection of application
    • Cancellation of admission at any stage
    • Termination of enrollment

3.2 Selection Criteria

Admissions may be based on:

  • Past academic performance (Class 10, 12, graduation)
  • Entrance exam scores (if applicable)
  • Group Discussion and/or Personal Interview
  • Statement of Purpose (SOP)
  • Other criteria as announced by FBS

FBS reserves the right to define and modify selection criteria for any program or intake.

3.3 Offer of Admission

  • An offer of admission (offer letter) is issued only after:
    • Evaluation of all selection parameters
    • Payment of any required fee deposit or admission fee
  • Admission is provisional until all original documents are verified.

3.4 Application / Processing Fee

  • Any application fee or processing fee is non-refundable, regardless of the admission decision or whether you complete the admission process.

Fees and Payment Terms

4.1 Fee Structure

  • Program fees, installment options, and additional charges (e.g., library, lab, exam, placement, internship, security deposit) will be:
    • Communicated during admission
    • Or published on the Website / prospectus
  • Fees are subject to change by FBS with reasonable notice.

4.2 Payment

  • Fees must be paid by the prescribed deadlines via payment modes accepted by FBS (online, bank transfer, cheque, cash at campus, etc.).
  • Late payments may attract:
    • Late fees, or
    • Cancellation of admission or registration

4.3 Refund Policy

  • Refunds (if any) are governed by:
    • FBS’s Refund Policy (as communicated at admission), and
    • Applicable laws and regulations
  • Unless explicitly stated otherwise:
    • Application fees
    • Admission processing fees
    • Non-refundable components (e.g., security deposits, certain administrative charges)
      are not refundable.
  • Specific refund timelines, deductions, and conditions will be communicated at the time of admission and in the admission agreement.

5.Scholarships and Financial Aid (if applicable)

  • Scholarships or financial aid, if offered, are awarded based on:
  • To continue receiving a scholarship:
    • Maintain a minimum CGPA (e.g., 6.0 or as specified) across semesters
    • Maintain minimum attendance (e.g., 80%)
    • Have no disciplinary action against you
  • FBS reserves the right to:
    • Modify, reduce, or cancel scholarships if conditions are not met
    • Change scholarship policies with notice

6.Program and Academic Terms

6.1 Program Details

  • Program duration, curriculum, faculty, schedule, internships, and live projects are as announced by FBS.
  • FBS may modify:
    • Curriculum
    • Course structure
    • Schedule
  • Internship / live project requirements
  • to meet academic, industry, or regulatory needs.

6.2 Attendance and Conduct

  • Minimum attendance requirements (e.g., 80%) must be maintained to appear for exams.
  • Students must adhere to FBS’s Code of Conduct, including:
    • Anti-ragging policies
    • Discipline and behavior rules
    • Academic integrity (no plagiarism, cheating, or malpractice)
  • Violations may lead to disciplinary action, including:
    • Suspension
    • Expulsion
    • Cancellation of exam results or degree

6.3 Internships and Live Projects

  • Internships and live projects are an integral part of programs such as MBA, BBA, B.Com, BCA, and B.Sc.
  • Typical structure includes:
    • MBA: 30-day internship (Sem I), 90-day internship (Sem II), live projects (Sem III), 90-day internship (Sem IV)
    • BBA / B.Com: 8-week internships (Sem II, IV), 24-week internship (Sem VI)
    • BCA / B.Sc: 8-week internships (Sem II, IV), 6-month internship (Sem VI)
  • FBS facilitates internships but:
    • Does not guarantee specific companies, roles, or stipends
    • Student performance and employer requirements influence final placements

6.4 Examinations and Results

  • Examination rules, grading systems, promotion criteria, and degree awarding are as per FBS regulations.
  • FBS reserves the right to:
    • Cancel exams, results, or degrees in case of malpractice or misconduct
    • Modify exam patterns or evaluation methods with notice

7.Placements and Career Support

  • FBS provides placement assistance and organizes internships and industry interactions.
  • However:
    • Placement is not guaranteed.
    • Participation in placements depends on:
      • Student performance
      • Employer requirements
      • Market conditions
    • FBS does not guarantee:
      • Any specific job offer
      • Any specific salary or role
      • Employment in a particular company or sector
  • Students must comply with company processes, tests, interviews, and background checks.
